The international meetings of strings held in Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad were created with the idea that, in addition to the competitive part of the event, they nurture and promote the pedagogy of string instruments as well as the affirmation of young artists and their monitoring during musical maturation.
Every year, in addition to the performances of the contestants, we will give our fellow citizens concerts of the most successful young performers as well as already renowned and recognized artists. Through seminars and expert meetings during the event, pedagogues can complete their knowledge and follow new trends in the interpretation and teaching methods of string instruments.
The significance of the International Meeting of String Instruments is increasing year by year, and the event represents a true festival of music for our city, country and region.
