Professor of cello at the Dr. Miloje Milojević School of Music in Kragujevac
He was born in 1963 in Kragujevac. He began his musical education at the Music School in Kragujevac in the class of Professor Janko Ristić. After three years, he continued his education at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija in the class of Professor Viktor Jakovčić. He completed his studies at FMU in Belgrade, also in Viktor Jakovčić’s class. During his studies, he attended master classes led by Professor Andre Navarro. During his studies and later, he performed in all the most important music centers of the former Yugoslavia: Ljubljana, Maribor, Zagreb, Novi Sad, Belgrade, etc. He recorded for Radio-television Belgrade. He is one of the founders of the chamber ensemble “Kontrasti”, whose activity marked the musical life of Kragijevac between the 80s and 90s.
He has been engaged in pedagogical work for forty years. He worked in music schools in Kragujevac, Belgrade, Valjevo, Kraljevo, Sežana (Slovenia), Postojna (Slovenia), School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija, Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac, Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. During his pedagogical work, he attended the master classes of A. K. Fedorchenko, Ivan Kučer, I. Kalman, T. Vik, L. Garohov, D. Đorđević, D. Grigorian. He independently held seminars in S. Mitrovica, Ćuprija, Belgrade, Niš, Leskovac, Jagodina, Munich.
His students won numerous awards at prestigious domestic and international competitions, and many of them continued their education in the country and abroad.
He is the winner of the award of the Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia for one-year outstanding results, and the Association of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia awards him an award for years of work in the education of young talents.
