Katarina Milutinović was born in 1997 in Sremška Mitrovica. She started playing the violin at the age of eight in the class of prof. Milan Čizmić. She completed her primary and secondary musical education with a student of the “Petar Krančević” generation in Sremška Mitrovica. She completed her basic and master’s academic studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of Prof. Robert Lakatoš. After completing her basic studies, she was recognized as a student of the generation. She is currently employed at the “Josip Slavenski” music school in Novi Sad.
He is an active member of the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, where he plays as deputy concertmaster and first violin tuti, the city chamber orchestra Kamerat Novi Sad, the Zrenjanin Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, the Subotica Philharmonic, and the Robert Lakatoš Chamber Ensemble. For five years she was a participant in the summer music camp “Toppenkurset” in Norway where she trained as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral performer. At the invitation of Mr. Akihiko Yamanobe and the Japanese ambassador to Serbia, she traveled to Japan where she had the opportunity to play with a baroque ensemble.
He is currently the artistic director of the string ensemble “Violint” from Novi Sad.
She is the winner of more than 50 awards and recognitions, among which the second prize at the international competition “Talents for Europe” in Slovakia, where she also won a special award for the performance of a composition of the 20th century. She is the laureate of the Republic competition in the oldest category in 2016, she is also the laureate of the Republic competition as a member of the duo “Con Anima” in 2012.
