
Zoran Milenković was born in Pančevo, 1948.
He graduated from the Faculty of Music at the University of Belgrade and studied classical philosophy at the University of Padua (Italy).
Versatilely interested in art, from poetry and literature to painting and music, in the latter he recognizes his most expressive vocation from early childhood and continuously nurtures it. His recognitions and successes in music art and pedagogy are numerous: from the double first prize for composition at the European Music Competition in Barletta (Italy, 2001) and over three hundred first prizes to his students (among whom the most famous sons are Stefan and Teofil), won at numerous national and international music competitions, to the Lifetime Achievement Award “The Most Successful Artist of Trentino – Totem Blu Art”, in the field of art, awarded to him in Italy (2010).
His teachings as a lecturer and pedagogue at international seminars and master classes in the field of music pedagogy in general, and violin in particular (USA, France, Italy, China, etc.) are numerous, as is his membership in juries at important international competitions throughout Europe.
He has also published a number of professional papers in violin pedagogy, in several languages (“Music and technique in sonatas and parts for violin solo, JS Bach”, “Goal – music, means-technique”, “101 tips to always wear with the violin” etc.).
He lives and works alternately in Italy and Serbia.
