Angelina Novaković

Violinist Angelina Novaković graduated from the Primary Music School in Valjevo, and from the Secondary Music School “Mokranjac” in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Vladimir Marković. She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of prof. Irina Yashvili. She is the winner of the Eurobank award for the best student in her first year of study. She participated in the festival of young artists in Bayreuth, performed in the hall of the Berlin Philharmonic as a member of the international youth orchestra, collaborated with the Novi Sad Chamber Orchestra, the orchestra of the festival in Salamanca (Florilegio festival), Spain, the orchestra of the Kotor art festival in Kotor. For several years, she collaborated with the Novi Sad Chamber Orchestra (then Kamerata Akademika) and collaborated with Dejan Mlađenović, Stefan Milenkovic, violist Žerar Kose, horn player Boštjan Lipovšek, Isidor Žebeljan. She performed as a soloist with the orchestra of the Academy of Arts and the orchestra of the Chamber of Academicians. She gained rich concert experience in the chamber duo “Proces” with violinist Mina Mladenović, performing in all important halls in the country. Together with her colleagues from the Valjevo music school, pianist Andrijana Božić and clarinetist Andrija Mirković, she founded the trio “Artis”. The need for constant training and professional development resulted in the completion of specialist studies at the Department of Chamber Music at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.
She is employed as a violin teacher at the Secondary Music School “Živorad Grbić” in Valjevo, where, together with colleagues from the string department, she creates and develops a different approach to violin pedagogy, colored by enthusiasm and artistic ideals. She has been declared the most successful pedagogue of the string department several times. Her students achieve exceptional results in national and international competitions, and many of them have continued their musical education at music academies. He participates in the work of the jury at violin competitions in the country. In May 2022, she was declared the most successful pedagogue at the string festival “Golden Stairs”.
