Ivana Aćimoski Žikić

Ivana Aćimoski-Žikić, a professor at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, began her music education in Niš. She graduated from the “Kornelije Stanković” High School of Music in Belgrade in the class of prof. Dragoljub Jovanović. She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of red. prof. Fern Rašković. During her studies, she was a scholarship holder of SANU and the Ivo Pogorelić Foundation. For many years she was engaged at the Faculty of Arts in Niš since its founding in 2010. He also acts as one of the mentors of the Department of Talents at M.S. “Kosta Manojlović” in Zemun and participates in the work of the external commission of the Faculty of Music at the exams at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija.
As a member of BGO “Dušan Skovran” (1994-2000), she participated in concerts in the country and abroad, at festivals: “Ohrid Summer”, International Festival “Santorini”, “Days of Mokranj”, BEMUS, NOMUS, NIMUS, Tribune of Composers, “Sofia Music Week”, “Europe in St. Petersburg” and in the cities of Great Britain, Greece, China, Russia, Macedonia, Hungary and Bulgaria.
Ivana Aćimoski-Žikić was a member of the jury at the String Competition in Niš in 2009 and 2019, at the 8th International Competition “Petar Konjović” in 2001, Art of strings in Kragujevac in 2018, “Memorial Ljubivoje Nikolić ” in Belgrade in 2018. and the Johann Sebastian Bach Music Festival in 2000. in Belgrade, and since 2015. is a permanent member of the jury of the ENKOR International Violin and Piano Competition (ENKOR Jury Board) (now the International Academy of Performing Arts and Sciences).
As a soloist, she participated in prestigious festivals: William Walton (Italy), Ohrid Summer, NIMUS, Skopje Summer, International Academy of Music in Hennef (Germany), Sombor Music Festival, Zemun Music Evenings, Sarajevo Winter and performed in the Conservatory Hall. Tchaikovsky ” in Moscow, Pancho Vladigerov Hall in Sofia, Ernest Anserme Hall in Geneva, Skopje City Museum, St. Sofia, Lisinski Hall in Zagreb, KNU, Belgrade City Assembly, etc.
As a representative of the FMU, she participated in the professor’s concert and held a master class at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, China in 2019.
In addition to recitals in the country and abroad, she had the opportunity to collaborate with prestigious orchestras (Belgrade Philharmonic, RTV Sarajevo, Nis Symphony Orchestra, BGO “Dusan Skovran”, Dom Vojske, Chamber Orchestras “Amorozo”, Cologne Ensemble “Phoenix” ‘, Chamber Orchestra of the Faculty of Arts in Nis) and eminent conductors. She has given concerts in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, China, Russia, Great Britain…
As part of the National Concert Season 2008. she held over ten recitals with Aleksandar Serdar and Natalija Maldenović.
Students in the class of Ivana Aćimoski-Žikić regularly perform in halls in Belgrade: KNU hall, SANU Gallery in KNU, City Assembly, National Theater Museum, SKC, Guarnerius, ARTGET, National Library, etc. and win first prizes at international competitions: “Petar Konjović” in Belgrade (Miloš Stevanović 2017 and second prize at “Ohrid Pearls” 2018), String Fest in Sremska Mitrovica (Dorotea Obradović 2015), Antonio Salieri in Lenjagu, Italy (Aleksandra Bogdanović and Vladana Stevanović 2010), Constantine the Great 2021 (Staša Žikić), String Competition in Niš (Dorotea Obradović 2015, Andrijana Durmišević 2019). student faculty.
