Judit Niderholcer Josifoska

Judit Niederholzer Josifoska was born in Subotica, where she completed primary and secondary music education
education in the class of Prof. Mirko Molnar. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad
Prof. Istvan Varga.
She was a member of the chamber orchestra “Camerata academica”, the SNP opera and the Vojvodina Philharmonic.
She started teaching as a student in 1991 as a cello teacher, and then some
later as a prof. of chamber music at the music school “Isidor Bajić” in Novi Sad.
In the course of her teaching activities so far, her students have won numerous awards and laureate titles in the country and abroad, such as: Heran Cello Competition-Czech Rep., Dotzauer Cello comp. Germany, Liezen Cello comp. Austria, Republic Competition of Music Schools of Serbia, Sremski Karlovci Talent Show, Petar Konjović Belgrade, Festival of Slovenian Music Belgrade, Stringfest S.Mitrovica and many others…Her students held several solo concerts and played as soloists with various orchestras and were active participants in master classes with eminent domestic and international cellists. Some of her students are currently among the leading young cellists in the world.
He actively participates in the work of the jury at various competitions.
She is the winner of several awards and recognitions:
~ “Award for many years of exceptional results” from the Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia,
~ “Provincial Award” for mentor of the year several times
~ Certificate of appreciation from the city of Novi Sad for the exceptional results achieved in working with students,
~ “Award for many years of exceptional results” by the Association of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia,
in 2014.
