Marija was born in 1981, she received her basic musical education in the violin class of prof. Mirjane Asurdžić, and high school in “J.Slavenski” Primary School in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Lidija Ranković. He graduates from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Irina Jašvili, and after his studies he continues to improve at the master classes of eminent violinists and pedagogues such as Igor Ozim, Dejan Mihailović, Tatjana Balašova, Igor Hačuk, Sreten Krstić, Emilio Percan, Savelij Šaljman, Orfej Simić and others. With BGO “Dušan Skovran” she performed as a guest member during 2005. He expands his interests to the field of chamber music, string quartet and symphony orchestra and participates with a scholarship in international festivals of young artists in Germany – International Festival Junger Kunstler Bayreuth in 2006, as well as German-Scandinavische Youth Orchestra Berlin, Germany in 2007.
From 2006 to 2016, she successfully worked as a violin teacher at the “Petar Stojanović” Secondary School, and from 2016 she was engaged at the “Davorin Jenko” Elementary School in Belgrade. The success of her students is evidenced by the prizes won at domestic and international competitions of the first, second and third rank throughout the country and abroad (over 140 prizes won, of which 25 laureates and over 100 first prizes), numerous solo concerts and performances, as well as the continuation of her students’ education. students studying in the country and abroad.
The most important awards of her students from international competitions are: Laureates of the Republic competition (2012 and 2014), Special award-winner of the first stage and 3rd prize-competition “Jaroslav Kocian” (Czech Republic, 2013), First prize-competition “Tartini” (Slovenia, 2013), Laureate – competition “E.Kutenau” (Romania, 2015), Laureate – Golden Matryoshka, competition “Bolshoi” (Mokra Gora, 2016), Absolute first prize – competition “Gianluca Campochiaro” (Sicily, 2016), Laureate – international string competition “Stringfest” (Sremska Mitrovica, 2017), and numerous first prizes from various competitions throughout the country.
In the course of his pedagogical work, the following AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS stand out:
– school year 2009/2010. declared teacher of the year, and in the school year 2013/2014, she received recognition from the municipality of Uba for exceptional pedagogical results.
– The Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia awards her an AWARD for years of achievements in the field of music pedagogy, 2014.
-winner of the award for the most successful teacher of the school year 2016/2017 from the association “Master Art”
-he is the recipient of the recognition of the Municipality of Rakovica for his achievements with students, 2019.

Since the 2016/2017 school year, she has been engaged as a violin and chamber music teacher at the “Davorin Jenko” Elementary School in Belgrade, where she performs her pedagogic vocation with a lot of love, energy and enthusiasm.
