Milena Martinov Stojković, born in Belgrade, where she graduated from the highschool of music “Stanković” in the class of Prof. Obrad Nedeljković. During hereducation, she played, as a permanent part-time employee, in the Symphonyorchestra of the Yugoslav Army. She graduated in 2003 in Laszlo Horvat’s class atthe Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.During her studies, she played in the string orchestra “Academica Camerata” underthe direction of prof. Istvan Varga and in the Vojvodina Philharmonic under thedirection of maestro Mladen Jagušt. During her education, she studied and went tothe master classes of professors Dejan Mlađenović, Ana Meljnik, Milan Čunko(Croatia), Ognjen Stančev (Bulgaria) and attended chamber music courses in Italy.From 2000 to 2005, she was a member of the Chamber String Orchestra “DušanSkovran” and with that orchestra had the opportunity to collaborate with eminentartists such as Irena Grafenauer, Mate Bekavac, Nigel Kennedy, Lutz Köhler,Claudio Vandelli, Sreten Krstić….Since the beginning of her studies, she played in many chamber ensembles. Amongthe most important are the Intermezzo Quartet (from 1999-present), the LaCampaLamela Trio (nomination for the concert of the year of the city of Belgrade),the string quartet MISS (award for the concert of the year of the city of Valjevo), thestring quartet of Ljubinko Lazić…Currently employed as a viola teacher at “Živorad Grbić” School in Valjevo. Sheconstantly works to strengthen the class and promote the viola, and her studentshave been achiving great results in competitions for years.At the end of the school year 2017/2018. year, she was chosen as the mostsuccessful teacher of the string department
