Born in Belgrade, 1970. Attended primary music education at the music schools “Stevan Mokranjac” (J. Abramović) and “Vladimir Đorđević” (Z. Ilić), and secondary school at the music school “Josip Slavenski” (M. Ristić) in Belgrade. She graduated in violin studies (1993) at the Moscow State Conservatory “P. I. Tchaikovsky” in the class of Olga Kaverzneva (V. Klimova chair), student of David Oistrakh. During her schooling in Moscow, she especially trained in the field of chamber music and string quartet with professor V. M. Scanavia and A. V. Galkovsky (violist of the Shostakovich Quartet). Improvement in 1999. continued at the High School of Music in Trossingen, Germany, in class G. Bajnova and F. Agostini.
He holds the “Stevan Mokranjac” diploma and is a six-time winner of first prizes at festivals, national and federal competitions, in the fields of violin and chamber music. She held a number of solo concerts in prestigious concert halls: the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, the Atrium of the National Museum, the Foundation I. M. Kolarca and SANU Gallery. She recorded for Radio and Television Belgrade.
After returning to Serbia, since 2008 he has been working as a violin professor at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija, where from 2013 to 2021 he also serves as the president of the Music Council. He is a member of the Board of Directors of MUZIKUS, the Association for the spread and promotion of musical culture in Serbia. He has been performing his extended pedagogical activity within the ARLEMM event since its foundation in 2010.
In the more than ten years that Milica Mladenović has been teaching at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija, her students have won over 80 awards as soloists and in chamber ensembles, at domestic and international competitions, among which the following competitions stand out: A. Grumio – Belgium, J. Kocijan – Czech Republic, Ohrid pearls – S. Macedonia, Krežma – Croatia, J. Hubei – Hungary.
She won the Đerđ Zazrović award (2013) at the Stringfest competition in Sremska Mitrovica.
Her former students are successful students of music academies in Belgrade, Ljubljana, Canada, Graz and Vienna.
