Nadežda Damjanović graduated from the secondary music school “Dr. Vojislav Vučković” in Belgrade in the class of prof. Biljane Jakšić Nikolić. She enrolled in violin studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Dejan Mihailović, as the first on the ranking list with the maximum number of points. He continues his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, also in the class of prof. Dejan Mihailović, where she graduated with the highest grade.
During her studies, she won numerous awards at national and international competitions in the country and abroad. As a student, she was a scholarship holder of the “Madlena Janković” fund for young talents. She performed numerous solo performances in concert halls in Belgrade and throughout the country, and performed as a member and soloist of several orchestras and ensembles (“Masters of Strings”, “Violinist Ensemble”, “Proklasika”, Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense “Stanislav Binički”, etc.).
She perfected her professional artistic experience in the Interpretive Violin Studio of Professor Dejan Mihailović, as a long-term active member.
In 2001, he founded the Cinderella Quartet, in which he plays the first violin and writes the arrangements. The quartet performed at numerous concerts, festivals and artistic events. In 2014, he cooperated with London music television C Music. Her original arrangement of Eric Satie’s composition, broadcast on this television, attracted the attention of musicians, critics and radio stations throughout Europe, America, Asia and Africa. She is the founder and member of the duo Didona, with whom she performed notable performances.
She gained her rich pedagogical experience in several primary and secondary music schools in Serbia, as well as at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where she was engaged for several years as an assistant professor in the subjects of Violin and Sheet Music. In her pedagogical work, she achieved exceptional results, and her students are winners of numerous first prizes and laureate titles at domestic and international competitions. Since 2024, she has been employed at the music school “Josif Marinković” in Belgrade.In cooperation with the Ilija M. Kolarca Foundation, he founded the Cinderella Music Studio, intended for children and adults (from 3 to 93 years old), in which he uses modern and innovative methods to develop programs of education, artistic improvement and affirmation of young talents, as well as the concept of lifelong musical education (LLL – Lifelong Learning). From the successful pedagogical work of the Cinderella Music Studio, with notable student results and great
interest of young violinists, establishes the MINI PAGANINI Violin Education Center, also in the Ilija M. Kolarc Endowment. A violin studio for gifted children was established within the MINI PAGANINI Violin Education Center, where he works as a violin teacher with especially gifted young violinists.
She organized numerous winter and summer musical creative-educational camps for young talents, as creative director and violin teacher (Vrnjačka Banja, Srebrno jezero, Arandjelovac, Knić and Belgrade).
He is the creator and director of the “Mini Paganini” international competition for young violinists, which gathers a large number of young talents and eminent violin professors from Serbia and abroad at the Ilija M. Kolarc Endowment in Belgrade.
