Nevena Busarac received her primary and secondary musical education at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija, in the class of Professor Relja Ćetković. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of professor Imre Kalman, with an average grade of 10.
During her studies, she won numerous awards at national and international competitions, among which the first prizes at the Republic competitions stand out, as well as the first prize with a maximum of 100 points at the “Petar Konjović” International Competition in 2001.
As a soloist, she performed with the orchestra of the School for Musical Talents, as well as with the orchestra of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. She improved her skills at a chamber music course in Odense, Denmark, as well as at numerous master classes with distinguished professors.
She gained extensive orchestral experience performing in ensembles such as the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, the Youth Orchestra of Southeast Europe and the Camerata Academica, as well as in other ensembles. He also performs actively as a chamber musician in various ensembles.
Since 2009, he has been working as a cello professor at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija, and since 2022 at the “Dr. Vojislav Vučković” Music School. At the International String Festival “Stringfest” in Sremska Mitrovica in 2010, she received the award “Đerđ Zazrović” for the most promising young pedagogue.
As a pedagogue, she achieved remarkable results. Her students won more than 60 first prizes at important competitions, including the Republic Competition in Belgrade, the International String Competition in Niš, the International String Festival “Stringfest” in Sremska Mitrovica and the International Competition “Art of Strings” in Kragujevac. Among these recognitions there are laureate titles, as well as awards won with a maximum of 100 points.
